TorGuard Introduction

VPNetworks LLC, the company that owns TorGuard, is a well-established provider of online security software and virtual private network (VPN) solutions based in the British Virgin Islands.

Because of the Torguard VPN, this company can provide excellent solutions for the anonymous browsing needs of its many clients.

As one of the most comprehensive VPN services available, Torguard VPN has more than 3,000 servers in 50 different countries worldwide, making it the most comprehensive service available.

In terms of raw power, the servers in the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Kingdom, Romania, Russia, and Canada outperform their counterparts.

Hot Features

The Torguard VPN has several valuable features, including a SOCKS5 app and proxy access, ideal for torrent users. The system also employs 256-bit encryption, indicating that its security is robust and capable of blocking a wide range of external threats that could lead to data theft.

The system also employs an excellent P2P system that performs admirably on those not compatible with all servers. In addition, Torguard now has an anonymous BitTorrent feature, which is a fantastic feature.

When you torrent, your IP address is usually visible to trackers. When you use this feature, you will remain anonymous while torrenting, meaning that none of your personal information will be exposed.

Number of Devices Allowed & Platform Supported

Users can connect up to five devices simultaneously with the software, compatible with all operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and iOS.

TorGuard Default Client Management

The TorGuard Windows application automatically starts when you start your computer and runs in the background (a tray icon is also visible in your taskbar). You can easily detach it from the tray, change its settings, or close it by double-clicking the 'exit' button on the tray.

Once closed, it will re-attach itself to the tray upon reboot. If you'd like to exit the application completely, right-click on the tray icon and select 'exit.' You can also use 'Exit' under the application menu to force close it.

WebRTC leak prevention

Torguard offers WebRTC leak protection through two methods: disabling IPv6 (leaks due to WebRTC cannot occur without an active IPv4 connection) and disabling STUN/ICE servers (optional; disables network traversal capabilities if enabled).  Custom servers can also be used in place of the default ones, which will ensure that your local network configuration stays hidden. Also, by default, Torguard automatically disables IPv6 in your profile settings if your Operating System does not have it enabled.

Torrenting VPNs and Netflix streaming services

Torguard does provide a secure connection to Netflix libraries if geographically restricted. However, it's worth noting that VPNs keep their networks up to date regularly with the most recent geo-blocking circumvention methods so that these results may change in the future. However, the connection may not necessarily go through different servers. because of this, you may need to try more than one server before it works.

TorGuard DNS settings

There are two different types of DNS settings you can configure on your device: SSL (connections to TorGuard servers via HTTPS) and non-SSL (connections to TorGuard servers without HTTPS). SSL DNS servers are recommended as they block ISPs from viewing URLs. All non-SSL DNS settings should be configured to use the first available IP address if you plan on using them for torrenting or bypassing geo-restrictions.

Customer Support

The best part about this software is that it has a live chat option on the website that connects you to a customer service representative who can assist you with any issues.

However, the customer service representative does not always respond immediately, which many people may find inconvenient.

However, when a customer service representative does respond, the representative can almost always go over the solution to a specific issue or concern raised by a user in great detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my ISP see I am using a VPN service?

The most likely answer is no, but it depends on what VPN service you are using. You should be using a VPN that uses OpenVPN. This is because ISPs have to tap into the data stream flowing from your computer and forward it on so that you can receive replies from websites. In this case, they will not see any difference between packets going out with a VPN IP address and packets going out with a non-VPN IP address.

Do VPNs protect me from malware?

No. A VPN helps protect you from spying on your web traffic or stealing data, but not from malware or viruses. However, some VPNs do offer malware protection (a different service). If you want to be safe from viruses, use antivirus software. This will protect you from viruses, spyware, and other malware. Plus, it will protect you whether you are using a VPN or not.

Do VPNs protect me from hackers?

A VPN helps protect your web traffic from spying on the part of your internet service provider. However, it does not prevent hackers from getting your data if you have already been hacked. If you are worried about people hacking into your accounts, use strong passwords (unique passwords for every account), change them regularly, avoid using the same password across multiple accounts, and use two-factor authentication when possible.

Conclusion

Overall, this VPN provider's features are pretty good. It gives users access to a wide range of valuable features. Another great feature of the product is its low price, making it accessible to almost everyone.

The 30-day money-back guarantee adds to the deal, allowing you to get your money back if you don't like the product within 30 days. It's also very user-friendly software. Even a newbie can easily navigate it.

The only issue with the software is the download process. It would take a long time to download and install the software.

Also, the customer support option on the website is not as efficient as other VPN providers. Customer support is slow and intrusive if you need help with your product right away. Nevertheless, it's a good VPN provider at a reasonable price.
